A wedding photograph is a lot more than just a piece of paper. Paper, quite literally, grows on trees.

A great wedding photograph is special, it must be created, it needs awareness, anticipation, and experience, it needs creativity and imagination. In years to come your photographs will tell the tale of one of the most important days of your life, a day of joy and happiness.

I will never forget my own wedding, and the first moment I saw my wife walking up the aisle. In the blink of an eye I was transformed from coolness personified to a quivering jelly. I had a huge lump in my throat, was unable to make a single sound, and used every ounce of my being to hold back the tears. The photographer, a good friend of mine and a great photographer, captured every millisecond of that moment with one click of the shutter, and that's what makes a great wedding photograph. Whenever I look at that photo, I still feel slightly jelly-like!
