Tim & Ellie’s Dorset Wedding

Tim & Ellie’s Dorset wedding

Tim and Ellie enjoyed a wonderful wedding day, bathed in glorious Spring sunshine and a chorus of birdsong. A great day was had by all, and the wedding photographer got himself a new suntan. The Bishop of Durham took the service, a lovely chap and a member of the bride’s family. He was very helpful regarding photography, consequently I was allowed to shoot from the front of the church.

After the ceremony the bride and groom were showered with hugs, kisses, and congratulations. Eventually emotions calmed, andwe headed off to the reception at the ever lovely Athelhampton House. Upon arrival the guests devoured the canapes while I took the bride and groom to the gardens for photos. The gardens looked magnificent, as did Ellie and Tim as they happily posed for photos. We returned to the guests just in time for a canape or two, and a quick glass of bubbly. Ellie & Tim mingled with their friends while I captured candid wedding photos of all the going-ons. It was then time for a few group photos, and photos of Ellie in the oriel window. The meal and speeches followed, and finally the evening drew to an end with a lively and energetic barn dance.

The flowers were by Jessie at West Dorset Wedding Flowers and the fabulous cupcake creation was courtesy of Lisa at Cakes by Lisa Notley
