Athelhampton House Weddings

Athelhampton House weddings are rather special

Athelhampton House weddings really are wonderful, and I’m very fortunate to be their recommended wedding photographer. This exquisite wedding venue has it all, beautiful, palatial gardens for your wedding reception; the River Piddle gently meandering through the grounds; an opulent Jacobean mansion house for your guests to explore; the magical Great Hall for your wedding ceremony; and the 16th century Oriel Window for stunning bridal portraits. All this and the finest food, wine and service you’re likely to find for a surprisingly modest price. If you’re looking for a wedding venue I’d say look no further.

Athelhampton House has that special ‘wow’ factor. The Great Hall has a marvellously ecclesiastical feel to it, and lends itself perfectly to wedding ceremonies. The gardens all have their own distinct designs; they’re absolutely fantastic and a wedding photographer’s dream. There’s no problem finding a wonderful backdrop for the photos, it’s more of a struggle to decide which gardens to use.
